Day 1. Almaty
Sightseeing tour of Almaty: Visiting Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, named in memory of the heroes of Panfilov’s division and Almaty heroes, who stopped the enemy’s tanks attack in Moscow during the World War II. Park got this name from May 05, 1942. The Ascension Cathedral – world biggest wooden church designed by famous architect A. Zenkov, founder of earthquake – proof construction.To feel the city’s real spirit and atmosphere you should definitely visit the “Green Bazaar”. Transfer to Medeo - the highest mountainous skating rink in the world and the main attraction of Almaty. There tourists have a brief stop on the huge Medeo dam, which protects the city from mudflows. On the top of the dam, at the altitude of 1733 meters above the sea level, tourists enjoy an amazing panorama, surrounded by wonderful mountains of Trans-Ili. Higher than Medeo there is Shymbulak. Ski Resort "Shymbulak" - the resort is situated in a picturesque valley Trans-Ili Alatau at a height of 2200 m above sea level. It is an amazing place where dizzy from the clear air and surrounding beauty. From there tourists can get to Talgar Peak by cable car.
Day 2. Almaty - Country side visit
The tour route to one of the most beautiful gorges of Trans-Ili Alatau - Issyk Lake lies along the Kuldja tract, where hundreds of years ago the trade caravans travelled. On the way you will learn a lot about nature and history of this region and see the burial mounds of Saka period, where the famous "Golden Man" was found, which has become the state symbol of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Then the tour route will take you to an altitude of 1756 meters above sea level, to the beautiful mountain lake Issyk, located in the valley with the same name. Also at the lake, you will have a picnic and free time for recreation at nature. Lunch box to be provided.
Day 3. Astana
Visiting the Baiterek Tower - symbol of new capital of Kazakhstan, on the walking distance Presidential Palace. Visiting the Palace of Peace and Concord - pyramidal building, which was built by the project of a famous. British architect, Norman Foster. The Palace has become one of the main attractions of the city. Visiting one of the biggest Mosques in Central Asia - Hazret Sultan. Tour to the Triumph of Astana through Center Bridge. Shopping at the famous “Khan Shatyr” Mall and an Entertainment Center.
Day 4: Almaty - Country side visit.
Full day excursion to Charyn Canyon (200 km). The journey takes about 4 hours one way. Charyn Canyon, which compared to the beauty of the Grand Canyon in Colorado, located east of Almaty. Unique forms of erosion and weathering of the relief will take you to the fantastic, surreal world of whimsical sculptures of sandstone "Castle Valley", Witches Gulch" and others. The height of the steep slopes, columns and arches up to 150-300 meters. The canyon stretches for 154 km northeast to south-west, along the Charyn River. Lunch box to be provided.
